Your story, PLAY-ified.
A one-off mixed-media artwork or series created from the objects, memories, symbols, intentions and synchronicities that mean something to YOU.
Together, we uncover what they hold - then I PLAY-ify them through colour, texture, intuition, humour and happy accidents.
The result can become more than something made for a wall: a visual anchor, a portal to new ways of seeing, and perhaps even a special connection to a memory, a loved one, your Higher Self or a future you are calling in.
Got a story, symbol or object asking to become art?
A memory, object, symbol, person, place, intention or synchronicity.
I transform it through mixed media, symbolism, intuition and a little creative mischief.
An original artwork with a story already inside it and room for new meanings to appear.
Please reach us at play@godass.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A PLAY commission is collaborative, personal and intentionally one-of-a-kind.
These terms make sure we both know what is being created, what freedom PLAY has to create it, what happens to meaningful objects, and how the practical bits work before the paint starts plotting.
Before work begins, we will agree the essential commission details in writing, which may include:
the overall concept or story, approximate size, medium, important objects or symbols, broad colour preferences, intended location, price, anticipated completion timeframe and delivery arrangements.
Our emails, messages, written proposal or invoice may form part of this agreement.
Your memories, objects, symbols, people, places, intentions and synchronicities provide the starting point.
You are commissioning a work in PLAY’s artistic language, rather than directing every brushstroke.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, PLAY retains creative discretion over composition, texture, placement, materials, symbolism, colour nuances and the happy accidents that emerge during the process. That creative freedom is part of what you are commissioning.
If you provide personal objects, photographs, letters, fabrics, jewellery, keepsakes or other materials, please tell me clearly if anything is:
irreplaceable, valuable, fragile, sentimental or not permitted to be permanently altered.
We will agree before work begins whether an object may be painted, cut, pierced, adhered, embedded, dismantled, altered or otherwise incorporated into the artwork.
Once you have expressly authorised an irreversible alteration and it has taken place, the object may not be capable of being restored to its previous condition.
If an object is too precious to transform, we can explore using its image, symbolism or another creative echo instead.
Total commission price: agreed in writing before work begins.
Deposit: 50%
The deposit secures the commission and allows work/material sourcing to begin.
The remaining balance is payable on completion, before the delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any substantial change requested after the agreed brief may affect the price or completion time. I will discuss this with you before carrying out additional chargeable work.
Because each commission is created specifically for an individual client, personalised commissions may fall outside the standard change-of-mind cancellation rights that apply to many ordinary online purchases.
Where you do have a statutory cancellation right, nothing here removes it.
Before work begins, please contact me immediately if you change your mind.
Once bespoke work or material preparation has begun, any cancellation charge or retained payment will be limited to what is reasonable in light of work already undertaken, materials committed and other actual losses, subject always to your statutory rights.
I will not impose an arbitrary penalty simply because life changed its mind.
Where appropriate, I may share an initial concept, composition direction or progress image.
This is not necessarily a promise that the final work will look exactly like an intermediate stage.
Mixed-media art evolves.
Unless agreed otherwise, 2** reasonable round of feedback** relating to the agreed brief is included.
Requests that substantially alter the original concept may be treated as additional work and quoted separately.
Original mixed-media work may include visible texture, uneven surfaces, distressed materials, found objects, layering, marks, irregular edges and other handmade characteristics.
These are often intentional parts of the work.
The finished commission will therefore not look mechanically perfect - nor is it trying to.
I will provide an estimated completion timeframe before or shortly after the commission is confirmed.
Art sometimes requires drying time, material sourcing, specialist fabrication or the occasional conversation with itself.
If a significant delay occurs, I will let you know.
Where a specific deadline is essential - birthday, anniversary, installation, event or other immovable date - please make this clear before commissioning.
Once the work is substantially complete, I may provide final images before dispatch or collection.
Small differences between photographs and the physical work can occur because of lighting, screens, scale and the three-dimensional nature of mixed media.
The physical artwork is the work itself.
Delivery, collection and any specialist installation arrangements will be agreed for each commission.
Shipping or specialist delivery costs will be stated separately where they are not included in the commission price.
Please inspect the artwork promptly on arrival and photograph any transit damage, including the packaging.
Once paid for in full, the physical commissioned artwork belongs to you.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, copyright remains with PLAY.
This means I may retain the right to photograph the artwork and reproduce images of it for my portfolio, website, exhibitions, publications, social media and promotion.
You may photograph and share your artwork for normal personal, non-commercial purposes.
Commercial reproduction, licensing, merchandise or other exploitation requires separate written permission.
Some commissions may involve sensitive memories or deeply personal material.
If you want the commission, story, identity or supplied objects kept private, please tell me before work begins.
Where we expressly agree that a commission is confidential, I will not publicly share the agreed confidential material without permission.
A PLAY commission may be created around intention, memory, symbolism, synchronicity, connection, a loved one, your Higher Self, your personal conception of the divine, or a future you are calling in.
The work may become a visual anchor or invitation into new perceptions and meanings.
Those possibilities are part of the creative experience, not guaranteed metaphysical outcomes.
I cannot promise that an artwork will manifest an event, heal a condition, communicate with another person or produce a specific spiritual experience. What I can promise is the intention I bring to its creation: an open mind and heart, deep presence, curiosity, care, and a wholehearted commitment to following whatever meaning, synchronicity and unexpected magic the creative process may uncover.
What unfolds between you and your piece remains beautifully open - belonging to your own perception, interpretation and story. And, if you wish, I can stay part of that conversation, offering guidance as you explore the symbols, synchronicities, feelings or new meanings the artwork may continue to reveal.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
If the finished work is faulty, materially not as agreed, damaged through my responsibility or the commissioned service has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill, please contact me at:
I want the practical relationship around the artwork to be as wholehearted as the artwork itself.
Before work begins, you may be asked to confirm that you have read and accepted these Commission PLAY Terms.
Payment of the agreed deposit after receiving these terms may also be treated as confirmation of the commission agreement, where legally appropriate.
